After studying Fine Arts and graduating, on the Dean's List, from Otis Parsons College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, Jason went on to exhibit and sell his artwork in and around Los Angeles. Selected by noted Artist's to participate in a Juried Awards Show, at the Ben Maltz Gallery, on of his assemblages was acquired by Elaine Goldsmith, longtime member of the Board of Trustees at Otis. In 1995, Jason exhibited an installation in "WIld Side", a group show at LACE: Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions. After showing at the Upstairs Gallery in 1998 in Ventura, he was given a favorable review in the Los Angeles Times by Josef Woodard.
In 1997, Jason began to focus his attention to another long time passion for Film Design. Bringing his background in the Fine Arts to Film has proved successful for Jason, who has become one of Hollywood's most sought after Conceptual Model Makers. Using Scale Concept Models to aid in the Production Design of many top films of the last decade. Jason has worked with many of today's top Director's and Designer's, providing them with the visual assistance of models to help realize their vision.
Jason was recently given recognition in 2008, in a book entitled "Otis Designs" celebrating the successful Alumni of Otis.
