Eliza took a First class degree at Cambridge University in England before attending the Royal College of Music in London. Her first job after graduating was to create a principal role in the original cast of the smash hit Mamma Mia! for which she also contributed to the Grammy Nominated Cast Album. She has since spent a year with the Royal Shakespeare Company, a year at The National Theatre and last year 8 months on Broadway as a principal in the Tony Nominated Production of Tom Stoppard's "Jumpers". She has appeared in her own cabaret to great acclaim at Joe's Pub in New York and Ronnie Scott's in London. She has recently been promoting her album of Radiohead covers, with appearances on the BBC's" Loose Ends", BBC's "In Tune" and interviews in many publications including The Times, Time Out, and The New York Times. She is currently playing the role of Mrs Banks in the West End Disney hit "Mary Poppins.
