In her prime a celebrated operatic singer and actress. Born 1881 in Christiania, Norway, as a daughter of decorator Carl Lunde and wife Josefine Smith. She played a long line leading roles in operetta, drama and comedy. First employed at the Central Theater in Christiania,1907-14, then in Trondheim and in Bergen. Also a few years by her first husband's traveling company. Became a widow in 1922, but remarried the following year with a sanitary major in the army. Nearly 40 years after she left the stage, she was featured in Aftenposten at 95 years in 1976, later that year she passed away.
