Dave Orvis

Dave grew up in Pontiac, Michigan, USA, and graduated from The University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) in 1970. His creativity blossomed mid-life when he penned the suspense thriller novel Untenable Position. He has since written several feature and short screenplays, and has produced and directed three, including directing of one of his screenplays adapted for the stage. He has just completed editing of a 14-minute "teaser" of his screenplay Chicago Dick about a washed-up private eye struggling with overdue bills, the bottle, and the death of his wife -- until he's hired for one special job that just might restore his honor. Dave and his wife, Rosemarie, live in South Bend, Indiana and both are active members of Mid America Filmmakers.
