Galya Novents

One of the leading Armenian actresses, Galya Novents graduated Yerevan Institute of Fina Arts and Theatre in 1958. Since then she acted in various theatres in Armenia, mainly Sundukyan Drama Theatre but also in Leninakan Theatre and Yerevan Drama Theatre. She received the Best female actress prize during the Venice Film Festival for the role of Siranush in Tango of Our Childhood (1985).
