Nickie Morgan

Nickie Morgan was born in Mississippi and after moving around with her family, landed in Austin, Texas where she fell in love with the theatre at the age of 13. After performing in several plays and musicals, she met and fell crazy in love with writer/director Mel House where, like a fool, she moved to Houston to be with him. The only grand thing that came out of this relationship was the collaboration efforts that made _Fade to Black (2001/I)_. Although Nickie doesn't credit this film as her finest work, she realizes that in doing FTB, she grew as an artist and respects the dedication and hard work that goes into making a low budget film. Nickie now resides again, peacefully, in Austin, and is currently working as an event planner and occasional actress.
