Tara Milutis

Tara Milutis is an American filmmaker and video journalist based between Istanbul and New York. In addition to documentary work, she also creates films for the United Nations and various humanitarian organizations. As a video journalist she covered the recent political crisis and coup d'état in Thailand, and has told the stories of refugees from the Syrian war as well as Karen ethnic minorities in Black Zones cut off from the Burmese government. She continues to shoot political and human rights films as well as various human interest stories around the world. She's a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
