Miro Viglianesi

Miro Viglianesi was born in Rome, Italy to father Italian Senator Italo Viglianesi and mother Ivrem Chesi. Architect, he spent some years as interior decorator till his good friends Vanzina brothers (Carlo & Enrico) asked him as assistant director in a couple of their movies. Immediately he was noticed by the super famous and great Italian director Dino Risi who wanted him as his first assistant and director of the 2nd unit in many movies. Miro helped also as first assistant the legendary Italian actor-director Massimo Troisi. Miro, while working as assistant director, has had the privilege to meet and work with many Oscar awarded or nominated actors as Sophia Loren and several others. Since 1997 he lives in Miami Beach where he is preparing several new movies as producer/director of stories written by one of his good friend the talented writer Nick Nicola Piacquaddio.
