Composer, songwriter ("Love Letters in the Sand"), author and violinist, the brother of Nick Kenny. Joining ASCAP in 1936, his chief musical collaborator was his brother Nick, and his other popular-song compositions include "Laughing at Life", "Every Minute of the Hour", "There's a Goldmine in the Sky", "Little Old Cathedral in the Pines", "It's a Lone Trail When You're Traveling All Alone", "Make Believe Island", "Running Through My Mind", "Leanin' on the Old Top Rail", "Beyond the Purple Hills" and many more.
