Hans Gustl Kernmayr was born on February 10, 1900 in Graz, Styria, Austria-Hungary [now Austria]. He was a writer and director, known for Donauschiffer (1940), Zwischen Strom und Steppe (1939) and Flower of the Tisza (1939). He was previously married to Marie Louise Fischer. He died on October 9, 1977 in Prien am Chiemsee, Bavaria, Germany.
