Lydia Kavina

Lydia Kavina is a composer, professional thereminist, and master teacher of the theremin. At age 9, Lydia began her study of the instrument with Professor Theremin, a first cousin of her grandfather. Her stage career as theremin player began at age 14. She studied musical theory and composition in Moscow at the Tschaikovsky State Conservatory. She has given over 600 performances in Russia, Europe, the USA and Brazil.
