Conal Kearney

Conal Kearney M.A Conal has been mentoring young screen writers in recent years, He is consulting producer on a short " Ar Scath le Cheile" recently shown at the Galway Film Fleadh. He has just returned from Hollywood working on a new Feature directed by Aisha Tyler ( post production ) ;I.M.D,B,/ "Axis" featuring Actors Ciaran Hinds, Emily Rickards, Jerry Ferrero Bronagh Waugh Paula Malcomson and Chris O'Dowd. Conal trained in Paris with highly acclaimed international mime artist, Marcel Marceau at his college, École Internationale de Mimodrame de Paris. He worked as a professional actor for 25 years, mainly with The Abbey Theatre. He has performed in most theatres in Ireland and has toured extensively with the Abbey Theatre to; London, Paris, Moscow, St. Petersberg, Philadelphia and New York. He has also worked extensively with RTE (Irish National Television Service) in a long running children's television series. As an actor he has performed alongside Gabriel Byrne, Jim Sheridan, Liam Neeson. Conal runs a private practice for personal acting and therapy and has coached a number of international actors and musicians including Bono, Larry Mullen jr, Caroline Morahan, Colin Farrell.
