Roman Kachanov

Roman Kachanov was born on February 25, 1921 in Smolensk, Smolensk uyezd, Smolensk Governorate, RSFSR [now Smolensk Oblast, Russia]. He was a director and writer, known for The Mystery of the Third Planet (1981), Stories from My Childhood (1998) and Metamorphosis (1978). He died on March 4, 1993 in Moscow, Russia.
