Sammy Johnson

Sammy was born in Gateshead and played in several local bands including 'Pigmeat'. In 1973 he and other local actors setup the 'Live Theatre Company' in Newcastle. However, Sammy was best known as the lovable Stick in the Hit BBC series Spender (1991).
