George Ivascu

George Ivascu is a famous Romanian film and theatre actor and director. He was born on February 15, 1968, in Bucharest, Romania. He graduated from the Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1993. In 1980, he plays his first role in the movie Muntii în flacari. Other notable roles are in Modigliani (2004), Bunraku (2010), and Undeva în Est (1991). He has received the Order of "Cultural Merit" in the rank of Knight, 2004 and was the Minister of Culture in 2018.
