Lucy Iacono

First child born in the United States after her parents and older sister immigrated from Ischia, Italy. Survived by a son and identical twin daughters. She met her husband, married in 1934 and together ran a deli and grocery store on the east side of midtown Manhattan for 5 decades catering to a few infamous people until it was permanently closed. The store was very briefly used in the beginning of the movie "Blue Steel" with Jamie Lee Curtis & Ron Silver. She was cast in a Woody Allen film 'Broadway Danny Rose' who best looked Italian & also spoke in her Neapolitan language saying "How soon (will he come)?"
