Kevin has directed and/or produced more than two-dozen documentary films for Netflix, TNT, A&E, Discovery, History and other networks. Several of Kevin's most successful films have explored the deep problems facing the criminal justice system. He's built compelling stories around the lives of murderers, detectives, prosecutors and victims.
Recent projects include Killing Richard Glossip, a serialized documentary focusing on the troubling case of a death row inmate in Oklahoma; Judgment Day, which takes viewers inside the high-stakes world of parole hearings and, The System, which highlighted the causes of wrongful convictions. Kevin directed episodes for these series, supervised story, oversaw post and was the primary producing director for dramatic recreations.
He began his career at PBS with "The American Experience" and went on to work in the long-form units at CBS, NBC, CNN and other news outlets. In 2008 he moved on to independent film production, specializing in verite projects on subjects like prison and law enforcement and military history.
Kevin's programs have appeared on TNT, Nat Geo, A&E, the History Channel in the US and around the world.. His recent work on "Boston's Finest" on TNT and "Commander in Chief" for the Military Channel has been submitted for Emmy consideration in 2013.
