Biography

Alexandra M. Horn was born in Munich and is the daughter of Silvia and Anton Horn. Therefore she is native German but fluent in English with a slight German accent and multi skilled. During preschool she played theatre and from 1995-1999 she was already confided in Bavarian folk art theatre, playing leading parts according to her age. Alexandra worked with various theatre companies, collecting plenty of stage experience. When she was nine, she had her film debut besides Hannes Jaennicke in the Pro7 TV film "Calculated Risk". In 2005 she had a supporting role in the TV film series "Two at the Great Lake" with Uschi Glas and Ruth Drexel and episode roles in "Rosenheim Cops" among others. She visited the Acting Studio Gmelin from 2007 - 2009 when the school closed down and went on to the Acting school Zerboni till 2010, where she passed successfully. In 2008 she started with voice overs, dubbing american TV series like "Beverly Hills 90210" and several Disney productions. As the presenter she guided the interview series "Women's World" of KJR Munich, she hosted several life-events with high-profile guests from politics, music and social media. In Berlin she worked as a Stunt Woman in the Babelsberg Film Studios and learned how to fight for film and theatre. From 2010 till 2011 she lived in London to improve her English skills, she visited the college and worked in a Londoner Dubbing Studio. Back in Germany she started as, Ariane Christiansen, a main role in the very well known daily TV series "Red Roses" and filmed more than 400 episodes till 2014. The exceptional thing about Alexandra M. Horn is her ability to play a variety of roles, she has not been type cast ever and is multi skilled. She is an advanced dancer, learned how to fight, is able to drive a motor bike and is a Bokwa instructor.
