Biography

Sonja Kristina Lindgren-Källström, born in Södra Öhn, a small community outside Strömsund, was a Swedish vocalist and screen actress. She was singing i local dance orchestras during the 1960's when film director Vilgot Sjöman spotted her and offered roles in "Syskonbädd 1782" (1966) and "I Am Curious Blue" (1968). Sonja Lindgren got famous and signed-on to a showcase production at Hamburger Börs, Stockholm, in 1969. During the 70's she recorded, acted in the television series "Nybyggarland" (1972) and married the renowned rally driver Harry "Sputnik" Källström. She appeared in one more feature film and in several television shows throughout the rest of her life.
