Martha Lavey

Martha Lavey was born in 1957, daughter of a CIA agent. She graduated from Northwestern in 1979 and later returned for a graduate theater degree. Most of her acting has been on the stage and she is today director of Chicago's Steppenwolf Theater, where her colleagues have included John Malkovich and others later famous for their movie roles. Lavey has only the one screen credit.
