Gorgeous, winsome Dene Larry only appeared in one film, Murder on Lenox Avenue, (Murder on Lenox Ave) but she left quite a lasting impression in her role as Ola Wilkins, the wholesome, good girl who disobeys her father when she marries the man she loves and not the man her father wants her to marry who he doesn't know is no good. Dene was very charismatic and graceful like a true actress which was proof she was a trained actress. Dene Larry was one of the few involved in Black Cinema films who was a true actress. Dene Larry's screen presence was very gracious, likable, full of personality and quite expressive.
