Lance Laspina

Lance attended U.S.C.'s prestigious Film School, graduating with a BA in Film Production. Since that time he has lent his talents to numerous feature films, interactive video games, comic books, magazines, television movies and commercials. He has worked in a number of capacities, including Directing, Art Directing, Storyboards, Concept Design, Matte Paintings, Movie Posters, Graphic Design, 3D Computer Graphics and Compositing. Some of my film projects include Schwarzenegger's film "End of Days," "T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous," a 3D IMAX film, "Noah's Ark," an NBC TV Mini-Series, "The X-Men", "Hollow Man," "Nutty Professor 2" and "Dr. Doolitte 2," both starring Eddie Murphy. In 1999, Lance founded the production company "Cinemachine" to produce and direct a feature documentary on legendary fantasy artist Frank Frazetta. The film, entitled "Frazetta: Painting With Fire," has won numerous festival awards for best feature documentary, and can be seen on IFC. Harry Knowles of "Ain't it Cool News" touted it as "The Documentary to end all Documentaries. It is such a great story." Recently, Lance directed two spec commercials, one of which was a top 5 finalist in a national contest sponsored by Hersheys. Please see the video links to watch them.
