Lia Langworthy

Lia Langworthy is a writer, filmmaker, essayist and a writing instructor at UCLA's Writer's Program. As a TV writer she is known for The Shield (2005), Media (2017) and The Young and the Restless (2018). Her personal essays have been published by Writers Resist, Angel Flight Literary West and Mutha Magazine. As an educator she co-founded Write On Girls - a summer writing retreat for tween girls and also works with emerging writers as a story consultant.
