Noel Langley was born on December 25, 1911 in Durban, South Africa. He was a writer and director, known for The Wizard of Oz (1939), Snow White and the Three Stooges (1961) and The Pickwick Papers (1952). He was previously married to Pamela Deeming and Naomi Mary Legate. He died on November 4, 1980 in Desert Hot Springs, California, USA.
