Mário Lago

Actor, composer, activist, lawyer, poet and radio broadcaster, the Brazilian Mario Lago was a multi-talented man born in 1911. He was an ardent communist who was imprisoned by the Brazilian government seven times between 1932 and 1969. The Andrew Sisters popularized his song "Aurora" in the 1941 film Hold that Ghost He died in 2012.
