Emile Kuri was born on June 11, 1907 in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. He was a set decorator and producer, known for 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954), Mary Poppins (1964) and The War of the Worlds (1953). He was previously married to Carrie Kuri. He died on October 10, 2000 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.
