Dale Kushner

Biography

Dale T. Kushner is a retired professional ice hockey player. He played in the NHL with the New York Islanders and Philadelphia Flyers. He played junior hockey for the Prince Albert Raiders, Moose Jaw Warriors, and the Medicine Hat Tigers. The Tigers won the Memorial Cup in 1987 and Kushner was named to the tournament all-star team. Undrafted by any NHL team, he was signed as a free agent by the New York Islanders in 1987. Kushner spent most of his time with the Springfield Indians, playing two games with the Islanders in 1989-90. The Philadelphia Flyers signed him in 1990. He played nearly a full season for them in 1990-91 but then was relegated back to the minors, where he played until his retirement in 1996. In the NHL he played in 84 games and scored 10 goals and 13 assists.
