Krasimir Kostov was born on 22 October 1944 in Stara Zagora. He graduated in Cinematography from the State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), Moscow in 1972. Assistant camera at Boyana Feature Film Studios (1965) and cameraman since 1972. He has made over 40 movies, among them, The Longest Night (1967); Nona (1973); The Stand-in (1974); The Flying Machine (1981); King for a Day (1983); All for Love (1986); Yesterday (1988); Adio Rio (1989); Margarit and Margarita (1989); That Thing (1990); The Goat Horn (1994); Spanish Fly (1998); The Rebellion of L. (2005).
