Biography

Born Rubén Gomez Cotti, began his career in a very early age. At the age of four, he began to take classes of drama, dance and guitar. Few years later, there was a chance for him to prove his talent: a movie called "A Time to Remember", where he could show how good he was in drama and singing. Then he entered to the famous Latin group Menudo, with Robby Draco Rosa, Ricky Martin and Sergio Blass. There, he recorded 9 albums, in several languages, such as Spanish, English, Portuguese and Tagalo. He made international tours with the group and in 1991 he left the group. He has appeared in many soap operas (Abigaíl, Alondra and Los Últimos Héroes, all of them in Venezuela). He also performed in the Broadway musicals "Oliver" and "Z The Masked" (this one with Debbie Gibson and Roberto Blades), and other six more plays. In his solo career, he made two records: "Rubén Gomez" (1997) and "Siempre Mañana" (1999), both with songs in Spanish and English.
