Irene Glezos is an award-nominated actress, writer and producer. She was born in Washington, D.C. and graduated from Catholic University with a degree in drama. Favorite stage roles include Lady in Tennessee Williams' Orpheus Descending for which she was nominated Best Actress by the Big Easy Entertainment Awards in 2017 and Maria Callas in Terrence McNally's Master Class for which she was nominated Outstanding Leading Actress by the Connecticut Critics Circle. Other New York and regional theater credits include Fairouz in Naomi Wallace's In the Heart of America (directed by Tony Kushner), Serafina in The Rose Tattoo for the Tennessee Williams Theatre Festival in Provincetown, Georgie in Heisenberg, Anna Prager in The Gift and Joyce/Isabella Bird in Top Girls. She has written and performed her own work including a solo play called Y, co-created and directed by Brad Calcaterra, about the mysterious final days of Marilyn Monroe. She has appeared in numerous films including the upcoming psychothriller Delusional with Anais Almonte and on television series including Law and Order, Sex and the City and Criminal Intent. She also plays Nina on Park Slope Moms, a female-centric comedy series in post-production set in an affluent, progressive Brooklyn neighborhood directed by Annetta Marion.
