Christopher Gavagan

Screenwriter, producer & director with Radiate & Reflect Productions, Chris has spent the last decade and a half in New York's independent film world working as a script supervisor, production manager & casting director. A graduate of St. John's University & NYU-SCE, and author of a dozen scripts, Chris has also been the recipient of the Wildacres Writer's Residency. He is a proud member of the Independent Feature Project. In November of 2009 Gavagan began producing and directing the feature-length documentary Coached into Silence, about sexual abuse within the world of organized sports. He has had the opportunity to speak and show footage from his in-progress documentary Coached into Silence before legislators in numerous State Capitols in support of laws strengthening victims rights and child protections, as well being featured as on national television and radio.
