Vladimir Gaitan

Vladimir Gaitan was a famous Romanian film and theater actor. He was born on February 2nd, 1947 in Suceava, Romania. He graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1970. In 1968, he had his first role in the movie 'Reconstituirea'. Other notable roles in the films" 'Sageata capitanului Ion' (1972), 'Ultima noapte de dragoste' (1980), 'Zbor periculos' (1984). Played on the stage of the theater ''Teatrul de Comedie'' - Bucharest. In 2002 He received 'National Order of the Faithful Service' in the rank of Knight. He was married with Tünde Gaitan 45 years. They had two children, Alexandru and Gloria.
