Biography

Juror Susan Sayre Batton, Managing Director of the Dia Art Foundation (NY) recently selected "Old School" which exhibited at the Woodstock Artists Association & Museum (WAAM). Leading artists Robert Henri, George Bellows, Yasuo Kuniyoshi, Rockwell Kent, Leon Kroll, Eugene Speicher were early members of WAAM. Jude's investigative journalism pressured the US Environmental Protection Agency to admit that MTBEs should be curtailed after a New Jersey Mobil station underground storage tank leaked and released a plume of Methyltertbutyl ether (MTBE) into the underground water supply. Her bold and unique approach to storytelling has been seen through stills, writing and film as she Co-Directed/Co-Produced the controversial cable series pilot, "Hey Paisan!". The film was an Official Selection of The New York International Independent Film & Video Festival, premiering at the Clearview Cinema in New York City, and shortly thereafter in Los Angeles, at the Vogue Theater. While Flori has had the honor of working alongside many industry professionals and celebrities and is currently working on a documentary, "Edges", dedicated to advancing equality of transgender people. Flori has recently penned two scripts, "ACT Now" and "Fisher of Men".
