Billy Fields

Began work in EMS with Fields and Sons Ambulance Service in 1978. When business was sold to Memorial Health in 1984, became Chief Flight Paramedic from 1985 until 1998 flying over 3000 safe missions. He also served as a founding member of the Bicycle Medic Team and Tactical Medic Unit formed to support the Savannah Police Emergency Response Team (S.W.A.T.) He has worked as Set Medic on various productions in and around Savannah and in 1998 entered the entertainment industry full time on The Patriot (2000). Initiated into I.A.T.S.E. 491 in 1996 and currently serves as Georgia representative on the executive board. He brings 25 years of street, air, and critical care experience to the set insuring a safer work environment.
