Biography

Al Feinberg got the role of "TV Reporter" in ABC's "My Son Is Innocent" not for his acting but, rather, for the want of a prop. In Phoenix for its filming, the movie's producers needed a news "live" truck for a particular scene. The morning of the shoot, they contacted the newsroom at KNXV, the local ABC affiliate and got the use of the vehicle -- plus its crew. Feinberg, then a real-life reporter working the feature story beat for the station, was assigned to the role -- and to cover the experience for his News15 viewers. Feinberg spent 20 years in television news, winning ten Emmys and two Edward R. Murrow awards for his storytelling and writing. Since 2002 he has worked for NASA in several capacities, including his current position as Executive Television Producer and Multimedia Division Chief at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
