Ruurd M. Fenenga

Ruurd M. Fenenga, NSC - his father Ruurd M. Fenenga, Sr., a cinematographer, producer and director, was his first mentor. At age 14 he worked often as a child actor in his fathers commercials. On one of his father's short films "Dovemanskruid" he worked as a second assistant-cameraman and worked on his documentary "P.D. de Recherche Film" as an assistant-cameraman. Years later, he started to work at a film-laboratory in Hilversum. Working at the camera rental house Holland Equipment in Duivendrecht, he learned about the ins-and-outs of camera & lighting equipment. At age 21 he moved to LA and worked on "Twin Peaks"(1990).
