She was with Errol Carroll's Vanities and headed a unit of USO Camp shows in the the 1940s. Her silent film stage name when she was young was Olivia Johnson. They designed a doll that was called the "Ollie Dolly". It was featured in a 1932 edition of Photoplay magazine. She had one surviving child, a son. A extraordinary dancer and singer. Her last performance in the industry was on KTLA TV Bandstand Revue in the mid 50's. Her own version of tap with African Drums.
