R.C. Everbeck

RC Everbeck has been working in the film and television industry for over a decade. He is currently starring in "Lie Detector" (2013), a psychological thriller shot in Oregon, Washington, California, and Yosemite National Park. The film was directed by Scott Forslund and co-written by Mr. Forslund and longtime collaborator Tim Ryerse. The film also stars Richard Topping and Karla Mason. "Lie Detector" is a taut, character-driven thriller that weaves through the world of hate crime, international espionage and high-octane X-sport action. Directed by Portland filmmaker Scott Forslund, it tells the story of FBI special agent David Wellman, whose work as a polygrapher on the bureau's Hate Crime Unit is suddenly disrupted by a horrific car crash. His injuries and subsequent recovery rip apart his personal life, yet bring powerful insight into his work as an FBI agent. This high-risk, twisting story takes the audience from the terrifying vertical walls of El Capitan to the confused world of brain-damaged David Wellman as it underscores themes of redemption, family, and personal friendship. Richard Topping, a British actor who has hosted a number of network and cable television shows before moving to the United States, co-stars as David Wellman's best friend along with Karla Mason, who plays David's wife. She is a native New York stage actor whose credits include "As The World Turns," "That's Entertainment," and many regional plays throughout Oregon, Idaho and Washington. Los Angeles-based RC Everbeck is a USC graduate, originally from Boston, Massachusetts and now resides in Santa Monica, California.
