Biography

Songwriter ("Julida Polka", "No One Knows"), composer, author, writer and publisher. He wrote special material for Red Buttons, Joe E. Lewis, Desi Arnaz, Harry Richman, Benny Fields, Belle Baker, and Rose Marie, and he was the chief creator and publisher of "Who's Who in Show Business". Joining ASCAP in 1957, his chief musical collaborators included Leonard Whitcup, Harry Revel, Sid Bass, and Walter Dana. His other popular-song compositions include "Boom-Boom-Boomerang", "Why Don't I Get Wise to Myself?", "Minnie the Moocher's Daughter", "Polka Dot Polka", and "Red Cap" .
