Randi Heide Steen

Popular singer & actress in operettas and revue, on the stage from 1927.(Casino-theater) She played at Chat Noir in Oslo, and also had guest appearances in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she also appeared in a film called "Cocktail" in 1937. In 1939 she became very popular in the Norwegian comedy "Hu Dagmar" where she played the title role. Randi Heide Steen was a member of a famous Norwegian theater family.... her parents were actors Signe Heide and Harald Steen, she was the sister of actors Harald Heide Steen and Kari Diesen, and mother of actress Anne Marit Jacobsen. She received the Kings medal of merit in gold (1959).
