Biography

"Little" George Havens spent about 10 years in Hollywood making his living as a "Western" stuntman and actor. He appeared in over 100 Westerns with the likes of Gene Autry. In spite of his diminutive height of 4'11, he attracted work, often appearing as a youth, or doing the stunt-work for the female and child actors. He was also a Western singer, appearing on the Grand Ol' Opry. In 1950 he attended a Billy Graham crusade and became a Christian. He became an evangelist, using his cowboy ways and knowledge. In 1966 he and his wife Lucy began a Cowboy Camp demonstrating Christian life through cowboy ways and life. The camp is located on Highway 84 between Santa Ana and Coleman, Texas.
