RAMON GRAU has been a member of the Spanish Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences since 1998. After graduating in Information Sciences in 1992 and gaining several qualifications in the audiovisual field, he began working as a teacher and became Professor of the Moving Image at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1993-1995). He spent three seasons acting as Technical Adviser for the hugely successful Spanish television TV3 serial (broadcast daily) "Nissaga de Poder (Saga of Power)" (1995-1998) and also created the board game based on the serial.
In 1997 he wrote and directed the professional full-length feature "Bomba de Relojeria(Time Bomb)", starring Lorenzo Quinn (son of Anthony Quinn), Silvia Tortosa, Eva Santolaria and Juncal Rivero (Miss Spain and Miss Europe) and a year later he published a novel based on the film under the same title. In 1999 he was the winner of the "Euroscript-99 International Scriptwriting Competition" organised by the European Community, with the script "The Colour of the Rainbow".
Since then he has been working through his own company "Grau-Films-Prods., S.L.", developing ideas and scripts and offering technical services to other production companies in films ("MALA UVA" with Sancho Gracia, "FBI, Frikis Buscan Incordiar" by Javier Cardenas, "Electroshock" with Julieta Serrano), television (specials for Via Digital, pilots for Tele 5, Canal 9 and TVE), theatre ("40 anos y un dia", "Bang", "Musica de Camaras"), galas ("Arc Show Awards", Inaugural Gala of the "Costa del Sol Festival of Spanish Cinema", "COIB" Gala), corporates (promotions, videoclips) and books.
