Kevin Carrico

Kevin Carrico was born in Waltham, Massachusetts and raised outside Detroit in Royal Oak, Michigan. After taking an early interest in filmmaking, he continued this pursuit throughout junior high and high school where he often applied film methods to other areas of study. Upon taking advanced directed studies at Wayne State University, Kevin simultaneously began freelancing in the Detroit area film industry. Since childhood, he has known many Detroit-based musicians and tends to work with them in commercials, music videos and film; these relationships have led to strong musical influences in his work.
