Biography

Popular radio country music singer of the 1940s and 1950s, Cousin Emmy seldom recorded but was a top draw on the live country music circuit. Famous for his mastery of the banjo, one of Emmy's most famous songs "Ruby Are You Mad" topped country charts in 1971 in a remake by Buck Owens.
