Matt Carey

Matt Carey is an American actor, best remembered as the slow and funny student Hopkins in Peter Weir's classic Dead Poets Society (1989). He's the student who composes the poem "The cat sat on the mat", which causes a hysterical moment with his schoolmates and gets a funny reaction from the teacher played by Robin Williams. Other than this role, he also appeared on the series Bless This House (1995).
