Biography

He was a licensed medical doctor. Moving from his native New Jersey to attend the University of Georgia in Athens, he afterward attended medical school in Augusta where he practiced medicine through the remainder of his life. He worked with Burt Reynolds in motion picture productions including The Longest Yard, Cannonball Run, Gator, and Smoky and the Bandit. He had owned the Augusta Eagles football team during the late 1970s.
