Biography

Eskisehir moved to Istanbul in 1952 and opened the First Photographer's shop in Sehremini. Later, he opened a photographer's shop in Aksaray and later in Istanbul Laleli. Meanwhile, a filmmaker came to his shop to have film photos made and He met the producer and stepped into Turkish cinema as an actor in 1956. He founded Çan Film in 1957. He was mostly known as "Zeki Çan" in Turkish cinema. Zeki Çan, who was the producer of Türkan Soray's first movie I Loved a Girl in the Village (1960), also shot films starring Cuneyt Arkin. He shot the movie in 1967. Son Söz is My (1967) He passed away in December 1996 in his house in Ferikoy, Istanbul, next to his wife Safiye and his sons Kurtulus, Savas and Gokhan.
