Stig Engström

Born in Stockholm on January 14, 1942. Growing up in Gothenburg. Restaurant education as a waiter. Worked on passenger ships to the US. Theatre Studies at Calle Flygares Theatre School and at the Theatre Academy Malmö 1964-67. Employed by Sandrews Film & Teater. Formed the famous theatre project group Fria Proteatern 1971, where he was active till 1981. Appeared in over 80 films and television series. Father of actor Felix Engström.
