Moncho Enríquez was born and raised in Zamora, Spain where was a member of the amateur stage company "Tizona". Later, he attended Jaroslaw Bielski and Socorro Anadon's acting school "Replika" in Madrid. Mainly an stage actor, his first movie was In the Shadow of the Vultures (1998) playing a Spaniard, but in the credits his name was "portuguesed" as "Moncho Enriques".
