Biography

Graduated in Nagasaki Prefecture. Joined Group Tack Animation Studio for the first time in 1978. After that he worked freelance, but occasionally collaborated with Group Tack. Debuted in film as assistant of animation director with "Night on the Milky Way Railroad" in 1985. In 1986 was promoted to chief animation director with the film "Touch 2: Good-bye Gift". The success arrived soon after with the films "Street Fighter II" (1994) and "Lupin III Dead or Alive" (1996). After that he focused on video and TV.
